An Epic Case of Procrastinating

Happy December everyone!! It’s good to be back! More than a year has passed and I have been agonising over this website and blog for many many months. An epic case of procrastinating!I’ve not even ventured into it because of my own disappointment in my apathy. Along with that goes my self-judgement and agonising over neglecting all you yarn- and fibre-craft-lovers and hopelessly letting you down.

But I have finally taken the leap, ripped my head out of the sand and updated the Yarns and Fibre Artists.

Life in the times of Covid

Helloooo Yarn Lovers. I can’t believe it’s been 6 months since we last connected. I hope you and your loved ones and friends have managed to get through what was, without a doubt, the strangest and toughest year for everyone. If you lost someone close to you last year, please accept my sincerest sympathies and condolences.

Another trip in my “Yarn Tardis”

…aaaand it’s November, people! Yikes! Time stands still for no man, or even woman, apparently. If only! I have TWO FO’s and some personal triumphs on my “brag wall”. And I’ve particularly been looking forward to sharing with you the absolutely BEST thing my girls did in that October break (possibly ever!). A Kids Crochet Workshop at The Yarn Tree. Project plans

Stash, yarn & projects I’m dying to get my hands on

Hi yarn-lovers. I thought I’d share with you a few of the plans I have for some of the yarns in my stash. I’m just dying to get started on these projects. I’m so desperate to get my hands on them that I’ve taken a break from binding off a sweater – Stella My Size. Yes, that’s all that’s left to be done – cast it off!

Instead, I’m using the excuse of telling you about my plans just so that I can touch these skeins and cakes of exquisiteness. They remind me of my reward when I’ve bound off a WIP (work in progress, in case you’re not familiar with the lingo). I’ve made a commitment to only start a new project when I finish another.
